Event Overview
Hosted by BEING – Mental Health Consumers in conjunction with the NSW Mental Health Consumer Peer Worker Committee and funded by NSW Health, the Consumer Peer Worker Forum is a two day, highlight of the peer worker calendar providing important professional development and networking opportunities.

Free for eligible peer workers
Eligibility
The event is open to all consumer peer workers working in NSW who work:
- in a designated, lived experience position
- full-time, part-time or casual role (not voluntary)
- in mental health or suicide prevention
- in either a public LHD or a Community Managed Organisation
(NOTE: Applicants who register but are found not to meet the eligibility criteria risk having their registration cancelled.)
Catering
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
Event Programme
Final details of the programme are in the process of being confirmed. The full program will be released prior to the event.
Registration

Registration opens at 10am, Wednesday June 7th 2023
Places will be filled on a first come first served basis so register without delay.
Once you have completed the process, you will receive an email to confirm your registration has been accepted.
Please note the eligibility criteria below before registering.
Bursaries
A limited number of bursaries are available to rural and remote LHD peer workers, to cover the cost of travel and accommodation.

Closing date for bursary applications is 5pm Wednesday 14thJune.
Successful applicants will be notified early wc 19th June.
