WHERE:

Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park

BEING – Mental Health Consumers invites peer workers across NSW to join our inaugural peer worker professional development and networking event: BEING Connected.

To be held at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park, this two-day event offers an incredible opportunity to learn about professional development, hear from keynote speakers, peer worker supports, and most importantly – connect with a growing network of peer workers in NSW.

BEING Connected will feature multiple prominent and experienced speakers from the mental health sector, and collaborative activities to promote connection. There will be plenty of time for networking, with chances throughout the day to connect with your fellow and future peer work colleagues, and to form relationships to support you in your peer work.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. The full program will be released prior to the event.

BEING – Mental Health Consumers has a long-standing history of supporting the growth and development of the mental health peer workforce. This event has been designed to encourage as many peer workers as possible to participate, whether employed in full-time, part-time, casual, or volunteer work. We hope to see you there!
