Advocacy Skills for Peer Workers - Session 1

  • Two-part course designed for Peer Workers
  • Aims to further develop understanding and skills to be an effective advocate
  • Understanding the concept of advocacy, and the importance of advocacy in mental health
  • Discussion of the types and principles of advocacy
  • Includes an education component, experiential learning exercise, and group discussions
