There has been much interest in the followup of the report on Seclusion, Restraint and Observation In NSW undertaken last year.
Today sees the release of the implementation to underpin this report.
Out of the 19 recommendations from the report, it is pleasing to see that the involvement of people with lived experience of mental health issues and their carers feature prominently in the implementation plan.
The plan outlines that every Local Health District will incorporate consumer, carer and family co-design into their prevention plans.
