Being made seven recommendations, across five broad headings, to the Federal Government’s Productivity Commission’s Mental Health draft report, which was released on 31 October, 2019.
The main areas of concern Being made recommendations on were:
- Mental health rights
- The need for a national consumer peak body for mental health
- The need for a Mental Health Complaints Commissioner
- The need for fully peer-run services
- Actions needed to facilitate a safe and stigma-free community
