Being Board member Irene Gallagher, CEO Peri O’Shea and Policy Officer Karina Ko were invited to attend the morning tea as representatives of Being.

The Governor thanked all the attendees personally and recognised all the hard work our organisations do in delivering mental health services across New South. He explained that he hosted the Morning Tea to thank us and recognise our achievements and the support that we provide to communities.

The event was very grand and the venue is all old-world charm and opulent elegance – even the carpet in the dining room! The Governor made us feel completely at home by inviting us to try out the beautiful antique furniture.

BEING would like to thank the Governor for his gracious invitation, his recognition of our work and his and his lovely wife Linda’s welcoming and engaging approach in receiving us in their home.
